The project you always want to have
In a designer's live there are these very rare opportunities:
A client is telling you to do whatever you want to do.
This was the shortest briefing and one of the best projects ever.
I loved creating the hermaphrodite TIKI and his friends.
Suddenly there was a whole world of surfers, chickens, pigs, stingrays, flowers and -of course - cocktails.
One question still remained unsolved: Who threw that coconut?

I just developed the idea of people treat themselfes at home a little further.

Confrontation with disease and sickness are always scary. In our culture, where youth, fitness and health are the top ideals, pictures of wounds and sick people are repellent for us.
But only knowledge can help to prevent or cure diseases.
Putting the aesthetic side of the sickness to the foreground, people eventually will get curious and want to know more about it. With this project I tried to create an open access to diseases without trivialising them.

You can find side effects in almost every packaging of medicine and pills. To visualize the sometimes bizarre and dramatic comorbidities, I made a book with 40 Illustrations.
The handmade book came with a packaging based on the ones that come with pills.

My favourite place to be
I love the Cinema. This cinema.
I got even more connected when I did a modernization of the old logo that was available only in one old jpeg. Based on that I did a little design consulting and started to recreate the whole corporate Design, including shirts and the foyer, to fit the modern screen and state of the art sound technology.
