OUT OF ORDER
Long time photo project
OUT OF ORDER. That usual means that something is not quite working or has flaws. But in this project, what was a default once, became a concept. The depiction of reality became more loose then what our eyes are able to process. Bees can see ultraviolett. An X-ray can see through flesh. So maybe a CCD-chip can see more as well, once its human made boundaries are gone.
The OUT OF ORDER Project exists since 2012.
The pictures are made with a digital camere with a broken CCD-Chip. Depending on the amount of artificial light, aperture and shutter speed, the photographs get more colorful and have an abstract touch.
Next time you get annoyed by a flaw or failure, by machines or people,
think again and try to make it an advantage.

... in the finale of 2014 in Brazil, when Germany won the soccer World Cup.
Taken with my favourite broken camera, I took these pictures in many hours from an old CRT television.

Baby, you're a firework!
Fireworks are a non repetitive and gone very fast. To make pictures with a camera that takes up to one minute and more to create one picture is pure concentration to the moment the camera is free for another one again.
