The hidden gem

In South Greenland I learned the most about landscape photography.

The conflict was always between the lenses. Do I zoom in or is it better to just enjoy the magnitude and elegance of the whole cinemascope scenery.

When it's cloudy all day, but on the next day there will be nice weather, look out for the space between clouds and the horizon. If there is no cloud during sundown you'll experience something great. Very intense colors and mountain tops on fire

Massive amounts of compressed ice and snow build the scenery as a glacier moved along and abrased the stones and earth underneath it. It left it‘s mark, and though the glacier melted a long time ago, it‘s words still hang in the air, carried by the wind, whispered in the shores that swash against the dark old stone. It tells its story to those who would listen. An easy task when floating through the solemns fjords with an open mind and inner peace.

Rivers grow to snakes, a bay becomes an eye. The designs of nature are indefinite. But they give us another perspective help us to see more complexity more detail we wouln‘t have seen from the ground.
